SPEED is a J-Pop band, they originate from Okinawa, Japan. The group consists of Hiroko Shimabukuro, Eriko Imai, Takako Uehara and Hitoe Arakaki.
The group formed in August 5 1996, but disbanded in March 21 2000, due to focusing on their solo careers and to study.
They reunited in 2008, but disbanded again in 2012. The reason why they disbanded is because of Hiroko didn't renew her contract.
My first SPEED song was "Kiseiku ga Toki", (do you know that song was made for a Doraemon movie?) I thought it was pretty good. I first heard about that song back in 2019/2020????
So... for the story that how I really liked SPEED, here it is: In March 2024, I heard the song "Body & Soul" in Just Dance Wii 2, it was a bop (no lie!). In May 2024 (I think), I checked out their other songs, their songs like "Go! Go! Heaven" and "Wake Me Up!" are in fact: REALLY GOOD! That how I got into SPEED.
Well, I really like "STEADY", "Go! Go! Heaven", White Love", "Precious Time" and "Breakin' Out In The Morning".
Here are the reasons:
STEADY: I think it's really good, I guess.
Go! Go! Heaven: Since it's pretty cool, I like the outfits the members are wearing in the PV.
White Love: This song made me feel a bit emotional, the tune is beautiful!
Precious Time: The visual are pretty nice to see.
Breakin' Out In The Morning: This has pretty nice outfits, I like the black and red.
